Description

A crisp and creamy classic salad with apples, grapes, celery, and walnuts in a tangy dressing. Perfect as a side or light lunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1 cup halved red grapes
  • 3/4 cup roughly chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lettuce leaves (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  1. Toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes (optional).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced apples, sliced celery, halved grapes, and toasted walnuts.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour dressing over the fruit and nut mixture. Toss gently to combine.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. Stir before serving. Serve chilled on a bed of lettuce or in bowls.
