Light and creamy strawberries and cream tiramisu layered with ladyfingers, mascarpone, and fresh berries.

- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Extra strawberries for topping
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Toss strawberries with sugar and lemon juice and let rest.
- Whip heavy cream to soft peaks.
- Beat mascarpone with powdered sugar and vanilla and fold in whipped cream.
- Dip ladyfingers in strawberry juices and layer in dish.
- Spread cream and add strawberries.
- Repeat layers and chill at least 4 hours.
- Top with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Do not over soak ladyfingers.
- Chill thoroughly before serving.
- Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
