Description

Light and creamy strawberries and cream tiramisu layered with ladyfingers, mascarpone, and fresh berries.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Extra strawberries for topping
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Toss strawberries with sugar and lemon juice and let rest.
  2. Whip heavy cream to soft peaks.
  3. Beat mascarpone with powdered sugar and vanilla and fold in whipped cream.
  4. Dip ladyfingers in strawberry juices and layer in dish.
  5. Spread cream and add strawberries.
  6. Repeat layers and chill at least 4 hours.
  7. Top with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Do not over soak ladyfingers.
  • Chill thoroughly before serving.
  • Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
