- 16 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, optional
Instructions
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Add mushrooms in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir and continue cooking until browned and tender.
- Add garlic, salt, and black pepper and cook for 1 minute.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Cook on medium high heat for best browning.
- Add garlic near the end to prevent burning.
