Description

Perfectly sautéed mushrooms with garlic and olive oil. Tender, caramelized, and full of rich earthy flavor.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add mushrooms in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Stir and continue cooking until browned and tender.
  4. Add garlic, salt, and black pepper and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan.
  • Cook on medium high heat for best browning.
  • Add garlic near the end to prevent burning.
