Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cubed day old bread
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease muffin tin.
  2. Cook ground sausage in skillet until browned and drain excess fat.
  3. Combine sausage, bread cubes, onion, celery, sage, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Add chicken broth and mix gently until moist.
  5. Spoon mixture into muffin tin and press lightly.
  6. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crisp on edges.
