  • 8 ounces pastrami, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely diced (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9×9 baking dish.
  2. Soak broken matzo pieces in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes, then drain gently.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  4. Stir in softened matzo, chopped pastrami, and diced onion.
  5. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
