- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly coated.
- Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle semi sweet chocolate chips evenly over the condensed milk layer.
- Add shredded sweetened coconut evenly across the top.
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans evenly over the coconut layer.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the top is lightly toasted.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into 24 bars.
Notes
- Press the crust firmly to prevent crumbling.
- Allow the bars to cool fully before cutting for clean slices.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- Do not overbake to maintain a soft and chewy center.
