- 2 large bananas, sliced and frozen
- 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Ensure bananas are fully frozen before starting.
- Add frozen banana slices, vanilla protein powder, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, honey if using, and salt to a high-speed blender.
- Pour in 1/4 cup milk to begin blending.
- Blend on low speed, gradually increasing speed until smooth. Add additional milk one tablespoon at a time if needed to reach a creamy consistency.
- Blend until completely smooth with no chunks remaining.
- For a firmer texture, transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Scoop and serve immediately for soft serve texture or after brief freezing for firmer scoops.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas before freezing for natural sweetness.
- Add milk gradually to control thickness.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week.
- Let sit at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before scooping if fully frozen.
