Description

Juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and sweet Hawaiian rolls come together in these irresistible cheeseburger sliders that are perfect for parties, game day, or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer half the cheese slices on the rolls, spread the beef mixture, then add the remaining cheese. Top with the other half of the rolls.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter, sprinkle sesame seeds, and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake another 5 minutes until golden.
  7. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Drain beef well to prevent soggy rolls.
  • Lightly toast bottom rolls before layering for extra sturdiness.
  • For more flavor, brush with garlic butter instead of plain butter.
