Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe but firm avocados, halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium heat, about 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
- Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Brush the cut sides of the avocado halves with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the avocados cut side down on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until grill marks appear and the avocado is slightly warmed.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle with any remaining lemon mixture if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- Choose avocados that are ripe but still firm to hold their shape on the grill.
- Avoid overcooking, as the avocado can become too soft.
- Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
- Add toppings like salsa, fresh herbs, or chili flakes for extra flavor.
