Description
These easy garlic butter mushrooms are ready in just 15 minutes and packed with rich, savory flavor. Perfect as a side, on toast, or stirred into pasta.

- 1 pound mushrooms, cleaned and halved
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Let it melt.
- Add mushrooms in a single layer and let them sear undisturbed for 4–5 minutes.
- Flip the mushrooms to brown the other side.
- Reduce heat slightly and add garlic, salt, pepper, and remaining butter. Stir for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add chopped parsley and lemon juice if using. Stir well.
- Serve hot as a side or over toast, pasta, or rice.
Notes
- Do not wash mushrooms under running water to avoid sogginess. Use a damp cloth instead.
- Add garlic toward the end to prevent it from burning.
- Use a hot pan and avoid overcrowding to achieve golden, crispy edges.
