Description

Elegant crispy domino potatoes made with thinly sliced Yukon Gold potatoes brushed with butter and herbs, roasted until golden and tender inside.


Ingredients

  • 6 medium Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Wash and thinly slice potatoes without cutting all the way through, keeping the base intact.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped thyme.
  4. Place potatoes upright in a baking dish.
  5. Brush butter mixture generously between slices and over the tops.
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until edges are crisp and golden and centers are tender.
  7. Let rest slightly before serving.
