Description

These Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits are buttery, cheesy, and packed with garlicky goodness. Perfect as a side dish or snack, they come together quickly and taste just like the restaurant favorite.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter using a fork or pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Add milk and gently mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Scoop heaping spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
