Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, grated onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties and press the center slightly to keep them flat while cooking.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Remove patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet.
  7. Assemble each burger with a lettuce leaf, cooked chicken patty, tomato slices, and red onion.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the chicken to keep the patties tender.
