- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and ketchup until just mixed.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly in the baking dish, pressing to form a solid base.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the meat, then arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until beef is cooked through and tots are golden brown.
- Top with remaining cheese and bake for another 5 minutes until melted.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving warm.
