- 1 1/2 pounds brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss brussels sprouts with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.
- Arrange sprouts cut side down in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 20 to 25 minutes until tender and golden.
- Remove from oven and immediately toss with parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Place sprouts cut side down for better caramelization.
- Add cheese after roasting to prevent burning.
- Reheat in the oven to maintain texture.
