Description

Roasted brussels sprouts tossed with parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper, inspired by classic cacio e pepe flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss brussels sprouts with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange sprouts cut side down in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes until tender and golden.
  5. Remove from oven and immediately toss with parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Place sprouts cut side down for better caramelization.
  • Add cheese after roasting to prevent burning.
