Description

Flaky, lemon-garlic baked tilapia that’s quick, healthy, and packed with flavor. Perfect for busy weeknights or light weekend dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tilapia fillets (56 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Place tilapia fillets on the baking sheet and pat them dry.
  4. Brush or spoon the seasoning mixture evenly over each fillet. Top with lemon slices.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • Don’t overbake the fish—it should flake easily and stay moist.
  • Try parchment paper for easy cleanup and better texture.
  • Great with roasted veggies or rice pilaf.
