Description

Golden, crispy-on-the-outside almond flour waffles that are light, fluffy, and perfect for a gluten-free breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, almond milk, vanilla, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Let batter rest for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron (about 1/3 to 1/2 cup per waffle) and cook for 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow waffles to rest for a minute before removing them from the waffle iron.
  7. Serve warm with desired toppings.

Notes

  • Let batter rest to thicken for better texture.
  • Freeze extras for quick weekday breakfasts.
  • Use non-stick spray or oil to prevent sticking.
  • Customize with spices or add-ins like berries or chocolate chips.
