Description

Crispy air fryer baklava granola packed with rolled oats, toasted walnuts, pistachios, warm cinnamon, and honey. A quick and flavorful breakfast or snack inspired by classic baklava flavors.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 325°F if your model requires preheating.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine the old fashioned rolled oats, chopped walnuts, chopped pistachios, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate small bowl whisk together the honey, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and orange zest if using.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the oat and nut mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper and spread the granola mixture evenly in a thin layer.
  6. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring gently halfway through, until golden brown and fragrant.
  7. Allow the granola to cool completely in the basket so it crisps up fully.
  8. Break into clusters and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even toasting.
  • Let the granola cool completely before storing for maximum crunch.
  • For larger clusters, press the mixture down lightly before cooking and stir gently.
  • Store at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
