- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- Zest from 1 orange

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and orange zest until smooth.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in dried cranberries, golden raisins, and chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 20 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Soaking the dried fruits in warm orange juice makes them plumper and more flavorful.
- Don’t overmix the batter to keep the cake light and tender.
