Description

Soft Tart with White Chocolate Cream and Strawberries is an indulgent dessert with a buttery tart crust filled with smooth white chocolate cream and topped with fresh, juicy strawberries. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness and freshness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a tart pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Add the chilled butter and work it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add the egg yolk and vanilla, mixing until a dough forms. Press the dough into the tart pan, then chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Bake the tart shell for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
  4. For the filling, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat, then add the chopped white chocolate. Stir until smooth and fully combined. Let the mixture cool slightly before pouring it into the cooled tart shell.
  5. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the white chocolate cream, gently pressing them into the cream.
  6. Chill the tart for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the filling to set. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving, if desired.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra richness, add a dollop of whipped cream on top of each slice when serving.
  • Store the tart in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. It’s best enjoyed fresh!
  • If you prefer, you can substitute the strawberries with other fresh berries like raspberries or blueberries.
