Description

These indulgent S’mores Brownies combine the rich, fudgy texture of classic brownies with gooey marshmallows, crunchy graham crackers, and melty milk chocolate for the ultimate campfire-inspired dessert—no firepit required!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • Brownies:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package fudge brownie mix (such as Betty Crocker®)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • S’mores Topping:
  • 6 graham crackers
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 8 (1.5 ounce) bars milk chocolate, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the brownie mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and water until well combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for 20–22 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
  5. Remove the brownies from the oven and immediately top with broken graham crackers, miniature marshmallows, and chopped milk chocolate.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and puffy and the chocolate is melty.
  7. Let cool before slicing into squares. Serve warm for extra gooeyness or cool for cleaner cuts.

Notes

  • For toasted marshmallow tops, place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes instead of returning to the oven—but watch closely to avoid burning!
  • Use dark or semi-sweet chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Brownies can be made a day ahead—store in an airtight container at room temperature.
