Description

A cozy, cheesy one-skillet twist on traditional lasagna using frozen ravioli, marinara sauce, and plenty of gooey cheese. Perfect for busy nights when comfort food is calling.


Ingredients

  • 2025 oz frozen cheese ravioli
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and make sure your skillet is oven-safe.
  2. In the skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. If needed, transfer sauce to an oven-safe baking dish.
  4. Spoon a layer of sauce on the bottom. Add ravioli, dollops of ricotta, mozzarella, and more sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and broil for 2–3 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with basil and serve warm.

  • Use quality marinara for the best flavor.
  • No need to thaw the ravioli beforehand.
  • Customize with veggies or cooked meat if desired.
