- 1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 egg, beaten (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point.
- Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg if desired for a golden finish.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
