Description

Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescents are a savory, crowd-pleasing appetizer made with flaky crescent rolls filled with a creamy sausage mixture. Perfect for parties, game days, or a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with cream cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point.
  6. Place the crescents on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg if desired for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
