Scale
- 6 ounces Peach Jello Mix
- 2 cups Boiling Water
- 4 Large Peaches
- 4 cups Salted Pretzels
- 3/4 cups Unsalted Butter
- 1 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 8 ounces Plain Cream Cheese
- 12 ounces Whipped Cream Topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil two cups of water. While the water boils, dice the peaches, leaving some slices with skin if desired.
- Mix the peach Jello mix with the boiling water in a medium bowl until fully dissolved. Stir in the diced peaches. Refrigerate the mixture.
- Crush the pretzels in a bowl using the bottom of a cup (not too fine).
- Mix the crushed pretzels with melted butter and 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly and bake for 10–12 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese, remaining 1 cup of sugar, and whipped topping until smooth and lump-free.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Pour the chilled peach Jello and peach mixture over the creamy layer.
- Refrigerate the dessert for 2–3 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe, juicy peaches for the best flavor.
- Don’t crush the pretzels too finely—you want some texture in the crust.
- Make sure the crust is completely cool before adding the cream cheese layer to prevent melting.
- Chill for the full time to ensure a clean slice when serving.
