Instructions
- If desired, preheat oven to 350°F and warm the baguette for 5 minutes for extra crispness.
- In a mixing bowl, flake the drained tuna with a fork.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, red onion, capers, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir until creamy and evenly combined.
- Slice each baguette portion lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
- Layer lettuce leaves on the bottom half of each baguette.
- Spoon the tuna mixture generously over the lettuce.
- Top with thin tomato slices.
- Close the sandwich gently, slice if desired, and serve immediately.
