Description

Rich, creamy, and full of comforting flavors, Marry Me Butter is a buttery chicken dish with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and cream that’s perfect for cozy nights or special dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and fresh basil. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor and melting.
  • Reserve some pasta water if serving with pasta to loosen the sauce.
  • Add greens like spinach at the end for a nutrition boost.
