Ingredients
- Croissants: 2 large, split in half
- Eggs: 2 large, whisked
- Maple syrup: 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard: 1 tablespoon
- Cheddar cheese: 2 slices
- Butter: 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional): chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Warm a skillet over medium-low heat and preheat the oven to 350°F if toasting the croissants.
- Whisk eggs, milk (optional), salt, and pepper in a small bowl until smooth.
