Description

Creamy, savory, and slightly smoky, Makin’ Magic Dip is a crowd-pleasing no-bake dip that comes together in minutes and shines with chips, veggies, or warm bread.

Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese, 8 oz (softened to room temperature)
  • Sour Cream, 1 cup
  • Mayonnaise, 1/2 cup
  • Cheddar Cheese, 1 cup (shredded)
  • Green Onions, 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
  • Garlic Powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked Paprika, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh Parsley, 2 tablespoons (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or microwave in 5-second bursts until just soft.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and fold until evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Just before serving, fold in the chopped fresh parsley and give the dip a final stir to refresh the herbs and texture.
  6. Serve chilled with an assortment of dippers such as tortilla chips, toasted baguette rounds, cucumber slices, carrot sticks, or pita chips.

Notes

  • For the smoothest texture, make sure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing.
  • Shred your own cheese for best melt and flavor, do not use pre-shredded if possible.
  • Make ahead by preparing the dip a day in advance and chilling overnight for deeper flavor.
  • If the dip seems too thick after chilling, stir in a tablespoon of sour cream to loosen it.
