Description

This Snickers Apple Salad is a sweet and creamy no-bake dessert made with crisp Granny Smith apples, fluffy whipped topping, and chunks of Snickers bars. It’s perfect for potlucks, holidays, or an indulgent twist on fruit salad!


Ingredients

  • 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy whipping cream, beaten to stiff peaks
  • 6 Granny Smith apples, divided (reserve 1 for garnish)
  • 6 full-size Snickers bars, divided (reserve 1 for garnish)
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and whole milk until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the Cool Whip or freshly whipped cream until fully combined.
  3. Core and chop 5 of the Granny Smith apples. If making ahead, toss them with lemon juice or 7-Up to prevent browning. Pat dry.
  4. Chop 5 of the Snickers bars into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Fold the chopped apples and Snickers into the pudding mixture. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Just before serving, chop the remaining apple and Snickers. Use them to garnish the top of the salad.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • To prevent apples from browning, toss them in lemon juice or lemon-lime soda if preparing in advance.
  • Cool Whip provides stability, but homemade whipped cream can be used for a fresher taste.
