Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (or 12 large marshmallows cut into small pieces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugars:

    • In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla:

    • Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients:

    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix the Dough:

    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Shape and Add Marshmallows:

    • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
    • Press a few mini marshmallows into the center of each dough ball.

    • Bake for 9-11 minutes, until the cookies are set but still soft.
