Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and water.
- Add rice vinegar and red pepper flakes if using.
- Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes, stirring often.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water until smooth.
- Stir the cornstarch slurry into the sauce and continue cooking for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
