- 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup (95 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 oz (113 g) dark chocolate, chopped and melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chopped chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, then whisk in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold into the wet mixture.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly soft. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan before lifting out with parchment for clean slices.
- Cut into squares and serve.
