Description

Soft, fluffy chocolate nougat wrapped in a silky milk-chocolate shell, these homemade 3 Musketeers Bars melt on the tongue and bring pure nostalgia with every bite.


Ingredients

  • Milk chocolate chips: 2 cups, divided
  • Heavy cream: 1/3 cup
  • Marshmallow creme: 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy lifting.
  2. Melt 1 cup milk chocolate chips with the heavy cream in a heatproof bowl set over gently simmering water, stirring until completely smooth. Let cool 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Beat the melted chocolate mixture with the marshmallow creme and vanilla until light and fluffy. Sprinkle in the powdered sugar and mix just until smooth.
  4. Spread the nougat evenly in the prepared pan and smooth the top. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
  5. Lift the slab onto a cutting board and cut into 12 bars with a warm, sharp knife.
  6. Melt the remaining 1 cup milk chocolate chips until silky. Dip each bar to coat, letting excess drip off, and place on parchment to set.
  7. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes until the chocolate is fully set, then enjoy.

  • Note: Chill the nougat fully so bars hold their shape during dipping.
  • For ultra-smooth coating, thin melted chocolate with 1 to 2 teaspoons neutral oil.
