Description

Kid-friendly homemade chocolate that melts in the mouth, comes together fast, and turns kitchen time into a sweet little adventure.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line molds or a small tray with parchment and set aside.
  2. Whisk cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and milk powder in a mixing bowl until evenly combined.
  3. Gently melt coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat until fully liquid.
  4. Pour the melted oil into the dry mixture, add vanilla and salt, then whisk until smooth and lump free.
  5. Tap the bowl and molds to release air bubbles, then pour the chocolate into molds or spread in the lined tray.
  6. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 to 2 hours, then unmold or break into pieces.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in a cool place.

Notes

  • Sift dry ingredients for an ultra smooth texture.
  • Stir the mixture for an extra minute to boost gloss before pouring.
  • Add sprinkles or crisped rice on top before setting for kid friendly crunch.
  • Keep chocolates chilled in warm climates to prevent softness.
