Description

Juicy grilled halal beef skewers seasoned with warm spices and served with a cool, creamy yogurt cucumber sauce that balances every smoky bite.

  • 1.5 pounds halal beef sirloin, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber, finely grated and drained
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Thread the marinated beef onto skewers, spacing pieces evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and fresh dill until smooth.
  6. Place skewers on the hot grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and cooked through.
  7. Remove skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve the grilled beef skewers warm with the yogurt cucumber sauce on the side.
