- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and brown sugar.
- Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat thoroughly in the marinade. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Clean and oil the grill grates. If using charcoal, arrange coals for direct heat.
- Place chicken skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 6–7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove from grill, tent with foil, and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish and serve hot.
