  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high, around 400°F. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and brown sugar.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs on the preheated grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side.
  5. Brush BBQ sauce over the chicken during the last 2–3 minutes of grilling. Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove from the grill and brush once more with BBQ sauce. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
