Description

A rich and comforting pizza with a crisp golden crust, classic tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and soft creamy pockets of cream cheese finished with fresh basil.


Ingredients

  • Pizza dough: 1 round (about 250 g)
  • Tomato sauce: 120 g
  • Cream cheese: 100 g, softened
  • Shredded mozzarella: 150 g
  • Fresh basil leaves: 8 to 10 leaves
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 0.5 teaspoon


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 C and place a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to heat.
  2. Soften the cream cheese in a bowl until easy to portion.
  3. Carefully remove the hot baking surface and lightly brush with olive oil.
  4. Stretch the pizza dough into a round shape and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly, then add small dollops of cream cheese across the pizza.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven, season lightly with salt, add fresh basil leaves, slice, and serve warm.
