- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat-treat the flour by microwaving it in a bowl for 1 minute 15 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds. Let it cool.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the cooled flour and pinch of salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
- Scoop and serve immediately, or chill for a firmer texture.
