Description

A quick and easy grilled shrimp boil with classic flavors of Old Bay seasoning, corn, potatoes, and sausage, all grilled to perfection for a fun and flavorful outdoor meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 small red potatoes, halved
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into halves or thirds
  • 2 smoked sausages, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Place the potatoes and corn on the grill. Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender. Grill the corn for 10-12 minutes, rotating every few minutes.
  4. While the potatoes and corn are grilling, place the sausage slices on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes until they have nice grill marks.
  5. Once the potatoes, corn, and sausage are cooked, move them to a platter. Add the shrimp to the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
  6. Serve the grilled shrimp with potatoes, corn, sausage, and lemon wedges. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush the shrimp with melted butter mixed with garlic before serving.
  • Serve with a side of dipping sauce, such as cocktail sauce or garlic butter.
  • If you don’t have a grill, you can also prepare this dish on a stovetop or in the oven.
