Description

A cozy and fruity tart made with a creamy almond filling, fresh blueberries, and ripe figs for a sweet, rustic treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 premade tart shells
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 3 to 4 fresh figs, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until smooth, then mix in the egg.
  3. Fold in the almond flour, vanilla extract, and salt to form the almond filling.
  4. Place the tart shells on a baking sheet and fill each one with the almond mixture.
  5. Arrange the fig slices and blueberries on top of each tart.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  7. Drizzle with honey while still warm and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe figs for the best texture and sweetness.
  • A little lemon zest can brighten the flavor.
  • Let the tarts cool before removing them from molds to avoid breaking.
