Description

A fun twist on a classic favorite, these baked pizza wraps use tortillas as a quick, versatile base loaded with zesty pizza sauce, melty cheeses, and your choice of toppings. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, a satisfying snack, or a party appetizer!


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni (or substitute with your favorite protein/veggie)
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red or green)
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives

 

  • Optional: A pinch of dried oregano and red pepper flakes for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Assemble the Wraps:

    • Lay the tortillas flat on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Spread about 2–3 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
    • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top of the sauce.
    • Evenly distribute the pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives over the cheese.
    • If desired, sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano and red pepper flakes over each tortilla for an extra kick.
  • Roll and Secure:

    • Tightly roll each tortilla into a wrap.
    • For better shape retention, secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  • Bake the Wraps:

    • Place the wraps in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the tortillas are slightly crisp.

 

  • Serve:

    • Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute before serving.
    • Serve with extra pizza sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the fillings with your preferred toppings or try a vegetarian version by substituting pepperoni with more veggies.
  • For a healthier twist, use whole wheat tortillas.
