Description

This Doritos Chicken Casserole is a cheesy, creamy, and crunchy comfort dish made with layers of nacho cheese-flavored chips, tender chicken, and a flavorful mix of salsa, soups, and cheese. Perfect for busy weeknights or potlucks!

  • 1 (14.5 ounce) package nacho cheese-flavored tortilla chips (such as Doritos), crushed
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups salsa
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) can corn, drained
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Spread the crushed tortilla chips evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chopped cooked chicken, 1 cup shredded cheese, salsa, drained corn, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Mix until well blended.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture evenly over the crushed chips in the baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the dish from the oven, sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese over the top, and return to the oven.
  7. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
