Description

Dark Chocolate Strawberry Jam is a rich and indulgent spread that combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with the deep, velvety flavor of dark chocolate. Perfect for spreading on toast, drizzling over desserts, or even enjoying by the spoonful.

 


Ingredients

– 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tbsp lemon juice

– 3 oz dark chocolate (70% or higher), finely chopped

– 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.

2. Stir and cook for about 10-15 minutes, mashing the strawberries slightly as they soften.

3. Once the mixture thickens, remove from heat and stir in the chopped dark chocolate until fully melted.

4. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

5. Let the jam cool before transferring it to a sterilized jar.

6. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks and enjoy!

– For a smoother texture, blend the jam before adding the chocolate.

– Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor.

– You can reduce the sugar if using very ripe strawberries.
