- 10 ounces dark chocolate chips (about 70 percent cocoa)
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Instructions

- Place the dark chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl and set it over the saucepan, making sure the bowl does not touch the water.
- Stir the chocolate slowly until it is fully melted and smooth.
- Add the almonds to the melted chocolate and gently stir until all almonds are evenly coated.
- Remove the bowl from heat and continue stirring briefly to keep the chocolate glossy.
- Spread the coated almonds onto a parchment lined baking sheet, separating them slightly.
- Sprinkle with sea salt if using, then let them set at room temperature or chill until firm.
Notes
- Use high quality dark chocolate for the smoothest coating and best flavor.
- Make sure almonds are completely dry before coating.
- Store in an airtight container to keep the chocolate fresh and glossy.
