Description

Flaky buttery pastries filled with sweet homemade berry jam, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • Puff pastry sheets: 2 sheets
  • Mixed berries: 2 cups
  • Granulated sugar: 1.5 cups
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch: 2 tablespoons
  • Egg: 1 large


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook berries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch until thickened, then cool.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
  4. Fill with jam and shape pastries.
  5. Brush with egg wash and bake 18 to 22 minutes until golden.
