Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the sweet potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through, until they are golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the hot sweet potatoes, allowing it to melt slightly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, you can broil the sweet potatoes for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
- If you prefer, you can use other types of cheese, such as cheddar or mozzarella, for a different flavor.
- For a spicier kick, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning mix.
