- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 small head Green Cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for about 3 minutes until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add chopped cabbage to the skillet. Stir and cook for 6–8 minutes until slightly softened.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and everything is well combined into a creamy mixture.
- Transfer the beef and cabbage mixture to the greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or pork for the beef if desired.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the paprika.
