- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and completely dried
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for drizzle)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and ensure strawberries are completely dry.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Repeat separately for white chocolate if using.
- Hold strawberries by the stem or insert skewers, then dip into melted chocolate and twirl to coat evenly. Let excess chocolate drip off.
- Place dipped strawberries on the parchment paper. Drizzle with melted white chocolate or add toppings before the coating sets.
- Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
- Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to avoid chocolate seizing.
- Do not freeze after dipping, as it can lead to cracked chocolate and soggy berries.
- For extra flair, use gold edible dust or colored drizzle for decoration.
