- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
- Add the flour to the brownie mixture and stir until incorporated. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. The cookies will firm up as they cool.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
